College Pick Results 4-1

A big week for Tony, 4-1, puts him at 7-3 for the season. Here are this week's results:

1. #6 Arizona State vs. #4 Oregon
PICK: Oregon RESULT: Oregon 35-23 Oregon put itself in the thick of the BCS title hunt with their decisive win over ASU. Dennis Dixon threw 4 TDs before leaving the game with a non-serious knee injury and boosting his Heisman resume. The Duck's D sacked ASU QB Rudy Carpenter 9 times.

2. #3 LSU vs. #18 Alabama
PICK: LSU RESULT: LSU 41-34 Alabama lost their 5th straight to LSU. Alabama led at halftime but allowed LSU to comeback with 17 points in the 4th quarter, 2TDs in the last 3 minutes and keep themselves in the BCS title game picture.

3. Florida State vs. #2 Boston College
PICK: BC RESULT: Florida State 27-17 So much for the weather slowing down the Seminoles. Anybody who has been reading the blog knows that I have been saying that BC was being ranked too high at #2, I saw their first loss coming in one of their 2 upcoming road games. Oh well, the cream always rises to the top and now we know BC is not the cream. Consequently BC QB Matt Ryan despite the 2 INTs played one of his best games of the year statistically, throwing for 415 yards and averaging almost 16 yards a pass with 2 TDs. BC should take note that Ryan can throw more than just 5-8 yard passes.
4. #19 Wisconsin vs. #1 Ohio State
PICK: Ohio State RESULT: Ohio State 38-17 The Buckeye D sacked Wisconsin QB Tyler Donavan 10 times and held the Badgers to 14 yards rushing, although they played without RB PJ Hill. Ohio State beats their 2nd straight ranked opponent and also stays in the BCS title race.
5. #14 Michigan vs. Michigan State
PICK: Michigan RESULT: Michigan 28-24 Michigan State gave Michigan a scare before giving up a late TD to give the Wolverines their 8th straight win and keeping them in a tie for the lead in the Big Ten.
