Tony's Fantasy Football-On The Rise

Here is a list of players that could see an increase in value in Week 10. Players are not listed in order of value.

1. RB Priest Holmes KC-With the ankle injury to Larry Johnson likely to keep LJ out for at least one game, Holmes will get to show if there is anything left in the tank. KC plays the worst run D in the NFL, the Broncos this week, so Holmes could be a good play. Update: If LJ is out for the season as rumored, RB Kolby Smith would also be a valuable pickup and could be the starter if Holmes can't carry the load.

2. RB Maurice Morris Sea-Again, injury to a starting RB. Shaun Alexander's wrist, knee and ankle could open time for Morris, who last year didn't do anything to excite fantasy owners in Alexander's absence. Honestly, he can't be any worse then Alexander has been this year, anyway.

3. WR David Patten NO-With the Saints offense back in business, Patten has been averaging 83 yards per game over the last 4 and could help you out in a league where you play 3 WRs.

4. WR Greg Jennings GB-The Packers have been the most invisible 7-1 team I have ever seen, and Jennings is available in many leagues, he has 226 yards and 3 TDs in the last 2 games, Favre is finally looking for other guys besides Driver, and Jennings is earning his trust.
5. QB Kyle Boller Balt-After watching the Monday night debacle against the Steelers, it appears that McNair doesn't have much left, and with LB Ray Lewis publicly calling for a change in the offensive philosophy, the Ravens may want to see what they really have in Boller as they begin to plan for next season. I wonder if the Ravens are wishing they would have held on to QB Derek Anderson at the beginning of 2006?

Also, remember that WR Andre Johnson, WR Chris Henry, WR Deion Branch and RB Steven Jackson are supposed to return from injuries this week.
