This week I was 4-2 and add that to last week's 4-2, that puts me at 8-4 for the season
1. New England vs. Indianapolis
PICK: Patriots RESULT: Patriots 24-20 Now the Colts know how the Patriots felt after last years AFC title game. The Colts played without WR Marvin Harrison, OT Tony Ugoh, 2 starting LBs and lost WR Anthony Gonzalez early in the game. The Colts had little problem moving the ball on offense, RB Joesph Addai racked up 226 total yards including a screen pass for a TD before the half where Addai split 5 Patriots defenders. The Patriots' D toughened in the Redzone forcing Indy to accept FG attempts on 3 occasions (2 converted). The Patriots hurt themselves with almost a 150 yards in penalties. The Colts defense also showed the Patriots a pass rush unlike any they had encountered this season getting to Brady twice and hurrying him on several occasions. Although the Colts seemed in control most of the game, New England was able to work their magic and make the plays they needed in the 4th quarter and grab the win.
2. San Diego vs. Minnesota
PICK: Chargers RESULT: Vikings 35-17 I can tell you the Chargers are not the #7 ranked rush D anymore. With the Vikings having nothing close to resembling a pass attack, San Diego must not have realized #28 was going to get the ball a lot. Peterson set a NFL single game record, rushing for 296 yards and 3 TDs on 30 carries.

3. Washington vs. NY Jets
PICK: Redskins RESULT: Redskins 23-20 OT The only thing the Redskins proved, was that their not really that good. Clinton Portis rallied the Skins, who let the Jets jump out to an early lead, to grab the win.
4. Green Bay vs. Kansas City
PICK: Chiefs RESULT: Packers 33-22 Two road wins in less than a week show that the Packers (7-1) are for real in the NFC. Favre looks energized this season and that is bad news for opponents. Despite the Chiefs lack of consistency they are tied for first with SD in the AFC West at 4-4.

5. Dallas vs. Philadelphia
PICK: Cowboys RESULT: Cowboys 38-17 As predicted TO had a monster night (10 rec, 174 yds, TD) in his return to Philly. The Eagles are just a mess and were no match for the NFC East leading Cowboys.

6. Baltimore vs. Pittsburgh
PICK: Steelers RESULT: Steelers 38-7 The Steelers dominated the Ravens in the heavy rain on both sides of the ball. The Ravens O continues to struggle to move the ball and that further infuriates LB Ray Lewis, who has spoken out publicly a few times this season, about his displeasure with the lack of offensive production. The Steelers Offense had an easy night considering the Defense caused 4 turnovers giving the Offense a short field to work with.
