The episode begins with Landry at the police station trying to confess to the murder of Tyra's attacker. The police keep asking Landry if the man was trying to hurt Tyra, and Landry keeps telling them he wanted to kill him. Landry's dad drags him out of the police station before he can incriminate himself any further.
We see Saracen and Carlotta making out in his bed, when Grandma knocks on the door, Carlotta hides under the sheets and Grandma asks Saracen if he knows who ate her snackwells.
Coach Taylor tells Riggans as part of his earning his way back on to the football team he will be helping with some of the sports departments duties.
Herc and Street are looking at an online dating site for girls who like guys in wheelchairs, and of course all the girls are smoking. Street decides to contact one, Isabella and they set up a date.
Buddy Garrity is still telling everyone how good Santiago will be if given some playing time, despite that Santiago has been struggling at practice and failing to pick up football.
Landry's dad tells Tyra that Landry talked to the police and gives her the name of a lawyer for her. Tyra goes to Landry's house to yell at him for talking to the police. Landry tells her he just couldn't keep the secret any longer. The lawyer tells Landry his best defense is to say that he was acting in self defense to protect Tyra. Landry continues to say he killed the man.
Riggans' roommate Guy is causing a disturbance at a school gymnastics event and Riggans has to ask him to leave.
Buddy is quizzing Santiago on his football plays and he is just not getting it. On the way to the game Santiago has a major anxiety attack and yells at Buddy and tells him he isn't his father and he doesn't need him or football. Buddy gives him a pep talk about seizing the moment and not ending up back in juvi. Santiago tells Buddy he hates him and they continue to the game.
Julie gets into an argument with Tami, and tells her she feels under appreciated since Gracie was born and that all she is looking for is a thank you, and storms out, Tami, says she thinks a thank you would be nice also.
Landry tells the police he was acting in self defense, and trying to save Tyra and himself.
Street and Isabella are out on their date and she tells Jason she looks on the website because she is looking for more open minded people, then she tells him that "pee" gets her going. She gets up to go to the bathroom, Street freaks out and asks the waitress to tell Isabella he had to leave. The waitress tells Isabella, who dumps her drink on the waitress and storms out.
Before the game Santiago is throwing up in the bathroom. The Panthers are struggling in their game, losing 28-13 at the half, mainly because the Panthers aren't putting any pressure on the opposing QB. Buddy asks Taylor to put in Santiago, and eventually Taylor puts him in. The first few plays Santiago gets blown up by blockers and taunted afterward. Then in one of those miraculous "Hulkamania" moments Santiago starts huffing and puffing and channels all this strength. Then on the next play Santiago sheds the blocker and blindsides the QB causing a fumble that is recovered by the Panthers and the crowd goes wild and Santiago likes the attention. After the game Buddy tells Santiago he changed the momentum of the game, that he was a hero. Santiago kind of apologizes to Buddy and says thank you to him.
The waitress drives Street home, and she is sharing her own dating nightmares, he thanks her for helping him out at the restaurant and then they kiss.
Guy wakes up Riggans and tells him he forgot to feed the ferrets, Guy is drunk and pointing a gun at him. Guy tells him he is joking and he should come down and meet his friends. Riggans tells them he is going to go get some Vodka and takes off. Coach Taylor finds Riggans sleeping in his car in front of his house the next morning, Taylor gives him a sleeping bag. I'm still thinking there is that other bunk bed over at Buddy's place.
Street tells his parents he is moving in with Herc.
The show ends with Landry telling Tyra that the police are not pressing charges.
