NFL 6 Packs Week 14 Results 5-1

I was 5-1 for the week, but missed the big one. I'm 31-11 for the season, 5-0 on Thursday games, 21-9 on Sunday games and 5-2 on Monday games, here are this week's results;

1. Chicago vs. Washington (Thurs.)
PICK: Redskins RESULT: Redskins 24-16 Not the prettiest of games, both teams lost their QBs, Rex Grossman and Jason Campbell both left the game with injuries. Washington backup QB Todd Collins stepped in and led the Skins to a huge game in the battle for a wildcard spot, and will have to continue to play at a high level to reach that goal/

2. Indianapolis vs. Baltimore
PICK: Colts RESULT: Colts 44-20 As predicted the Ravens had nothing left after their Monday night game with the Patriots. The Colts dominated, jumping out to 30-0 lead at the half. And it was no surprise that WR Marvin Harrison missed another game although it had been speculated he would play.

3. New Orleans vs. Atlanta (Mon.)
PICK: Saints RESULT: Saints 34-14 The Falcons had no chance, and to make things worse for owner Arthur Blank, who is doing everything in his power to put the Michael Vick disaster behind him, had some of his players show support for Vick on the field as well as violating NFL dress code. Some players, after the game stated that they would be a much better team with Vick, then they are, most likely true but not something that should be said publicly. The Falcons are a mess, I would say look for them to clear out a lot of veterans for next season, many of whom have not bought into Bobby Petrino's coaching ideas. UPDATE: Petrino must have realized he had no control, he resigned on Tues. speculation is he is going to Arkansas.

4. Pittsburgh vs. New England
PICK: Steelers RESULT Patriots 34-13 Ok, I took a lot of heat picking against the Patriots, but watching them play and struggle against sub par competition the last 2 weeks, it was easy to pick the Steelers. The Patriots passing game showed up this week and Randy Moss must have been being lazy the past 2 games, because his ankle looked fine to me. Still no sign of a rushing attack for New England (22 yds.) Also, the Patriots D continued to struggle allowing 350 yds but the saving grace was the redzone D which allowed no TD's, the Steelers TD came on a 32 yd pass.

5. NY Giants vs. Philadelphia
PICK: Giants RESULT: Giants 16-13 Its not easy watching a Giants game, my little brother can run a more potent offense on Madden 08. Eli Manning continues to look confused, but the Giants have won 2 of the last 3 without playing more than 1 good quarter of football per week. the Giants D, has kept them in the games as of late, but if the Giants expect to go anywhere, but home in the playoffs they need to get their offense going.

6. Miami vs. Buffalo
PICK: Bills RESULT: Bills 38-17 The Bills were up 31-7 at the half and the Fins made the Bills O look like the Patriots O. Both Buffalo RBs Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson (5x5x5 pick) had 100 yard rushing games.
