The episode begins with the Panthers losing their game badly. We see Julie and teacher Noah talking in the stands, and Tami doesn't like it at all. Why the team is upset about the loss, Smash is running his mouth about how pretty he is and bragging about his upcoming recruiting trip to fictional McNair State, "where your cup is always full, and the girls never say no, its going to be like Cabo in my pants." The "transfer cheerleader" is finally given a name, Lauren, who invites Matt to spend the night because her parents are out of town, but Matt declines saying he needs to go home and see his Grandma, but he really goes to see "Grandma's nurse" also finally given a name, Carlotta. When he gets home, she tells him that there is nothing going on between them. A police officer comes to school to talk to Tyra, the officer lets Tyra know that her attacker's brother is meeting with some of the victims, to apologize for his brother's actions. Tyra agrees to meet with him. Coach Taylor walks in on Tami and Glen having lunch, Taylor is getting a little jealous of the time Glen has been spending with Tami. Tami tells coach Taylor she needs a night out, away from the baby, that the teachers are having a bunko night. Smash gets to McNair State, and they show some players walking him through the weight room, and they're all like, Smash we need you here, blah, blah. One rather large player Katrell, doesn't seem all that impressed with the Smash. Riggans tells Guy, the fat guy he is staying with, that insists on walking around in his underwear, that he really misses football, Guy tells Riggans he will take him hunting, that it will make him forget football. Tami pulls Noah aside and yells at him for spending too much time with Julie, and tells him she finds him inappropriate, she says she can have him fired, have Coach Taylor beat the crap out of him and thrown into prison. Some of the students witness this, and when Julie finds out she storms into Tami's office, crying that she has no business telling Noah not to spend time with her. Tyra tells Landry about the meeting with her attacker's brother, and Landry says he will go for her and talk to the brother. The McNair St. guys take Smash out to a club and a party and introduce him to some ladies, one of which Smash ends up leaving with. While he is getting in on with her, back in her dorm room, there is loud banging on her door, apparently big Katrell is her boyfriend, and Smash takes off running down the hallway in his boxers, down the stairs, jumps a fence and keeps running to escape, its probably the best I've seen Smash run in 2 seasons. Katrell tells Smash he better find another school. Saracen comes and picks him up sometime the next morning. Landry goes and meets with the brother, and the brother doesn't understand how his brother could have done those things. Landry has some choice words for him and the brother leaves. Saracen makes another move on Carlotta, by kissing her, only to have Lauren show up at the door. On Smash' advice Saracen, tells Lauren he wants to see other people. She is none too pleased and Saracen is free to pursue Carlotta (Tony called this weeks ago.) Tami and Coach Taylor have another conversation about Glen, Coach Taylor feels that is disrespectful to him and the family. Tami, tells him he can sleep on the couch, so she can get some sleep and pay more attention to her family. Landry is sitting alone in the diner and Lyla comes over and asks him if he is ok, he says he has a secret that is eating away at him. Riggans enters a trailer on Guy's property and discovers a Meth lab, Guy finds him and says lucky your cool dude, or I'd have to kill you. Riggans shows up at practice in his uniform and Coach Taylor tells him to get off his field. Riggans says he is not leaving, Taylor says you let this team down. Riggans starts apologizing to individual players and finally Taylor tells him to take his spot. Did anyone really think they were going to keep Riggans off the team? I mean the only Panther jersey available on nbc.com is a Riggans jersey. Saracen and Carlotta finally hook up after he tells her he broke up with Lauren and that he did it because he can't stop thinking about her. And the much hyped Landry turns himself in storyline for this episode, basically gets pushed to next week, as the show ends with Landry walking into the police station, saying he has information about the murder.
